El jurado de SAC International Curatorial Residency Program 2020 formado por Eva Sòria (Institut Ramon Llull) y Joana Hurtado (Institut de Cultura de Barcelona), junto con el equipo gestor de Sant Andreu Contemporani (Jordi Pino, director; y Zaida Trallero y Pablo G. Polite, comisaria y comisario), ha adjudicado la residencia en concurso a la comisaria de arte Carolina Lio. Lada Wilson y Yasmin Martin han sido finalistas.
La comisaria formará parte del jurado del Concurs d’Arts Visuals Premi Miquel Casablancas 2020 y desarrollará un proyecto curatorial con una selección de los artistas presentados a concurso. El proyecto deberá ser presentado en la galería Central Space de Londres (UK) durante 2020.
El 10 de enero a las 24h finalizó el periodo de inscripción para la convocatoria de SAC International Curatorial Residency Program 2020. En total, se recibieron diecisiete propuestas procedentes de países como Argentina, Azerbayán, Cuba, Ecuador, Egipto, Eslovenia, Estados Unidos, Francia, Georgia, Holanda, Inglaterra, Italia, Rusia, Sudáfrica y Ucrania.
SAC International Curatorial Residency Program es una iniciativa de Sant Andreu Contemporani con la participación del Institut de Cultura de Barcelona y el Institut Ramon Llull. El objetivo de la convocatoria es ofrecer un conocimiento personal del contexto artístico a través de la convocatoria del Premi Miquel Casablancas y fomentar colaboraciones futuras entre agentes locales y extranjeros en el marco del arte joven.

The selection committee comprised of Eva Sòria (Institut Ramon Llull) and Joana Hurtado (Institut de Cultura of Barcelona), together with the management team of Sant Andreu Contemporani (Jordi Pino, director, and Zaida Trallero and Pablo G. Polite, curators), has awarded the residence in competition to the art curator Carolina Lio. Lada Wilson and Yasmin Martin have been finalists.
The curator will be part of the Miquel Casablancas Prize for the Visual Arts’ jury in 2020, and will later develop a curatorial project with a selection of artists chosen from applicants to the prize. The project must be presented at Central Space in Londres (UK) during 2020.
On January 10 at 24h the registration period for SAC International Curatorial Residency Program 2020 ended. In total, seventeen proposals were received from countries such as Argentina, Azerbaijan, Cuba, Ecuador, Egypt, England, France, Georgia, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Slovenia, South Africa, Ukraine and United States.
SAC International Curatorial Residency Program is an initiative from Sant Andreu Contemporani with the participation of the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona and the Institut Ramon Llull. The purpose of the open call is to offer a personal knowledge of the art context through involvement in the jury of the Miquel Casablancas Prize, and to foster, in the context of young art talent, future collaborations between local and foreign cultural actors.
