El jurado de SAC International Curatorial Residency Program 2021 formado por Eva Sòria (Institut Ramon Llull) y Carles Sala (Institut de Cultura de Barcelona), junto con el equipo gestor de Sant Andreu Contemporani (Jordi Pino, director; y Zaida Trallero y Pablo G. Polite, comisaria y comisario), ha adjudicado la residencia en concurso a la comisaria de arte Kiki Petratou. Alessandra Franetovich ha sido finalista.
La comisaria formará parte del jurado del Concurs d’Arts Visuals Premi Miquel Casablancas 2021 y desarrollará un proyecto curatorial con una selección de las/los artistas presentados a concurso. El proyecto deberá ser presentado en la galería JOEY RAMONE Gallery de Rotterdam (Países Bajos) durante 2021.
El 1 de febrero a las 24h finalizó el periodo de inscripción para la convocatoria de SAC International Curatorial Residency Program 2021. En total, se recibieron veinte propuestas procedentes de países como Argelia, Brasil, Colombia, Cuba, Estados Unidos, Inglaterra, Haití, Italia, México, Países Bajos, Polonia, Tunez y Ucrania.
SAC International Curatorial Residency Program es una iniciativa de Sant Andreu Contemporani con la participación del Institut de Cultura de Barcelona y el Institut Ramon Llull. El objetivo de la convocatoria es ofrecer un conocimiento personal del contexto artístico a través de la convocatoria del Premi Miquel Casablancas y fomentar colaboraciones futuras entre agentes locales y extranjeros en el marco del arte joven.

The selection committee comprised of Eva Sòria (Institut Ramon Llull) and Carles Sala (Institut de Cultura of Barcelona), together with the management team of Sant Andreu Contemporani (Jordi Pino, director, and Zaida Trallero and Pablo G. Polite, curators), has awarded the residence in competition to the art curator Kiki Petratou. Alessandra Franetovich has been finalist.
The curator will be part of the Miquel Casablancas Prize for the Visual Arts’ jury in 2021, and will later develop a curatorial project with a selection of artists chosen from applicants to the prize. The project must be presented at JOEY RAMONE Gallery in Rotterdam (the Netherlands) during 2021.
On February 1st at 24h the registration period for SAC International Curatorial Residency Program 2021 ended. In total, twenty proposals were received from countries such as Algeria, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, England, Haiti, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Tunisia, United States and Ukraine.
SAC International Curatorial Residency Program is an initiative from Sant Andreu Contemporani with the participation of the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona and the Institut Ramon Llull. The purpose of the open call is to offer a personal knowledge of the art context through involvement in the jury of the Miquel Casablancas Prize, and to foster, in the context of young art talent, future collaborations between local and foreign cultural actors.
