I el guanyador de SAC-FiC Programa de Residència Curatorial 2018 és…
El jurat de SAC-FiC Programa de Residència Curatorial 2018 format per Eva Sòria Puig (Institut Ramon Llull) i Oriol Gual Dalmau (Institut de Cutura de Barcelona), junt amb l’equip gestor de Sant Andreu Contemporani (Jordi Pino, director; i Zaida Trallero i Pablo G. Polite, comissaris), ha adjudicat la residència a concurs al comisssari d’art Xavier Acarín Wieland.
El comissari formarà part del jurat del Concurs d’Arts Visuals Premi Miquel Casablancas 2018 i desenvoluparà un projecte curatorial amb una selecció dels artistes presentats a concurs. El projecte haurà de ser presentat a la Muu Gallery de Helsinki (Finlàndia) durant el 2018.
El 20 de gener a les 24h va finalitzar el període d’inscripció per a la convocatòria de SAC-FiC Programa de Residència Curatorial 2018. En total, es van rebre catorze propostes procedents de països com Argentina, Brasil, Colòmbia, Itàlia, Irak, Mèxic, Sèrbia, Tailàndia, UK i USA.
SAC-FiC Programa de Residència Curatorial és una iniciativa de Sant Andreu Contemporani amb la participación de l’Institut de Cultura de Barcelona i l’Institut Ramon Llull. L’objectiu de la convocatòria és oferir un coneixement personal del context artístic a través de la convocatòria del Premi Miquel Casablancas i fomentar col·laboracions futures entre agents locals i estrangers en el marc de l’art jove.

The selection committee comprised of Eva Sòria Puig (Institut Ramon Llull) and Oriol Gual Dalmau (Institut de Cutura of Barcelona), together with the management team of Sant Andreu Contemporani (Jordi Pino, director, and Zaida Trallero and Pablo G. Polite, curators), has awarded the residence in competition to the art curator Xavier Acarín Wieland.
The curator will be part of the Miquel Casablancas Prize for the Visual Arts’ jury in 2018, and will later develop a curatorial project with a selection of artists chosen from applicants to the prize. The project must be presented at the Muu Gallery in Helsinki (Finland) during 2018.
On January 20 at 24h the registration period for SAC-FiC Curatorial Residency Program 2018 ended. In total, fourteen proposals were received from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Italy, Iraq, Mexico, Serbia, Thailand, UK and USA.
SAC-FiC Curatorial Residency Program is an initiative from Sant Andreu Contemporani with the participation of the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona and the Institut Ramon Llull. The purpose of the open call is to offer a personal knowledge of the art context through involvement in the jury of the Miquel Casablancas Prize, and to foster, in the context of young art talent, future collaborations between local and foreign cultural actors.
